Description |
On Sat. 9/10 at 7:30 pm and Sun. 9/11 at 2:00 pm,
local author and history buff, Glenn Pearsall, will present a narrated
power-point production featuring his research, including Civil War
re-enactors in period costume, music, drills and demonstrations at
Tannery Pond Communmity Center(TPCC)on Main Street, North Creek, NY
12853. This will be a fund raiser for JHS. Adults $10. Children $6.
Refreshments will be served after each program. For the month of
September at the TPCC Gallery will be an exhibit of Glenn's Civil War
photos and artifacts. The Gallery is open - free to the public - Mon.-
Fri. and during special events. Saturday 9/10 and Sunday 9/11 at the Ski
Bowl Park in North Creek there will be a Civil War living history
re-enactment with tents, open fires and musket firing. There will be
drills and manual of arms. Soldiers will converse with the public and
answer questions. |
